In search of the local Erotic Boutique

So yes, long time since I posted anything except the comic, I know.
Last week, my friend Kimmie came to visit, and we had an unhealthy few days, staying in most of the time and eating sweets, which I usually try not to eat during the week.
Waffles by my dad. They're awsome, especially on a cold winters night.
The one day we did go out, we were actually only going to the big supermarked in town, but then Kimmie insisted he's find the local sex shop, 'cause he wants to buy some japanese rope-nonsense, which is apparently "an art" Not just bondage". Whatever.
Last week kind of reminded me of how strange Norwegians often think the Japanese are. I mean, Japan IS strange. It still is to me too, but not in the way that we're led to believe over here.
Anyway, I'd never seen a sex shop in our town, and we couldn't find it either. Kimmie even went in to a hair salon and asked directions XD I hid outside, the whole thing reminded me of an episode from Osaka this Christmas, but I don't think you guys want to hear about that :p
Seems there was no sex shop (I'm sorry, erotic boutique) in town after all, but we'd walked all the way up to the theatre, so Kimmie offered topay for a movie ticket (I am really broke), and we ended up seeing the Grit.
I'd seen it reviewed on TV a few days earlier, and it seemes cool. And it was! I'm actually not a fan of the Cohens, some of their movies just don't take it all the way to the hype, but I really liked this one! Except the ending maybe, which was a bit of an anticlimax, but I'm not going to say more about it, 'cause I think everyone should go see it!
Kimmie, from when we hung out at the supermarked, waiting for the movie to start. His face looks so sreious here, but he's really not that kind of guy XD
I'm sure it's old news, but I had no idea you could buy Duff beer now f^^;
On our way home we encountered an ice sculpture of sorts... Yes.

And then there was the home made banana split, no wonder my trousers feel tighter this week O__O
Anyway, it was really nice having someone to talk to and not be alone and isolated in my office all the time. We saw almost everything I have of animé, some of it I havn't watched for years! Not EVA though, it still makes me miss Nuts. And most of my other movies as well.
The thing about my friend here though, is that he's like a 14 year old in his head. I'm not joking, and I'm not exagerating either. I'm just fascinated (and sometimes annoyed) at how he can ... NOT KNOW all the things he doesn't know, and how he's very unreflected on a lot of things that comes completely natural to most other people I know. Makes me realize how much I actually got out of high school!

Well, I did get a lot of comicing done, and I also made this:
It's a drawing I've been thinking about for a while, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out.
I now only have eight drawings left before I've finished my quota for the exhibit in May :D

This week I borrowed my dads debit card (no, seriously, he just lent it to me) and went into Oslo. This is how poor I am, look:
I've had to mend my tights in several places. Ok, both knees, 'cause I fell down those stairs at the train station in Osaka XD
I didn't go to crazy with the card, 'cause I know my dad will give me money for any reasonable needs I have, if I can just make myself ask, but I did treat myself to food, and some money for saving and a 7-day travel pass, so this week I'll be moving around!
This is what our house looks like right now. The wether is crazy! Hot-cold-hot-cold. The snow is coming down the roof every time, it's a miracle it hasn't come down on anybodys head yet!
Even if everything outside is covered in white though, I think this weather kinda gives a tingle of spring. I mean, very soon everything's going to be sloshy and discusting, and after that we'll actually be able to see the sphalt again!
I really can't wait for spring ^^

On another note, I tried to dye my hair brown the other day. How hard can it be right?
I don't know if it's because my hair is so fucked up(it really is!) or because the dye was so old (it really was!) or maybe it's just because I've got tons of bad karma (seriously, tons!), but it kinda turned... red... or orange...
I havn't been this colours since I was a little mall goth, hanging out at the manga store and trading Pokemon cards XD I don't hate red hair though, but I don't think it's for me. It doesn't go well with pink and just generally doesn't suit my style. I guess it's fitting then, that I'm in this huge identity crisis right now.
Yesterdays outfit (the one in the picture with that gourgious smile on my face ^^;) was supposed to be oshare kei, but I soon realized I looked more like a circus gyaruo XD
ハロ。どこ行くの?ちょっと遊ばない?ご飯でも行かない?

サーカスに連れて行くぜ。

Love and peace out, I've got a traveling pass to make use of XD

A happy birthday party!

In the event that I suddenly don't know who I am or even who I want to be, I suddenly got the urge to use some left over hair colour I had lying around.
It turned out allright I guess. Not so good at the roots, because they've never been bleached, but I guess I don't really care that much at the moment.
Supergrin. Anyone can do it!

So this was Friday, and we were going out to celebrate Cats birthday. Kinda feel like we've been celebrating it all week XD
The party was taking place at the same place as we did Alex's party the week before, but before that I met up with her at uni. And let me tell you it is not easy to get anywhere these days! I opened my door and suddenly I was in the Norwegian highlands, the snow had been sweeped around by the wind and there wasn't even the slightest trace of a trail from the house down to the street XD
The trains too were in complete chaos, but I did get there eventually.
Cat carries an eyepatch in the purse, for some reason. And now, for some other reason, it's in MY purse. How did that get there and what am I gonna do with it?XD

Also had a lovely shot of Cat with the eyepatch on her nose (I smell a new Visual Kei-trendXD), but she didn't agree with me that the world wide web needed to see that picture. But I've got another great shot for the world wide web!
That's the birthday girl :D

Marjus(who kinda runs the pub we were going to) had told us we could come in a bit early and decorate or whatever, so we were there like half an hour before. Marjus, however, was not XD
But we found this:
Eivind had also been nerd enough to show up ridiculously early, and so all we could do was hang out at the closest grocery store.
Finally I remembered I had Marjus' number from when we were in the same class, so I called him and he said he was just on his way out. I think he was there at eight on the dot, which is when the pub opens XD
It's not a very frequented place (not yet anyway ;) so there was no line or anything. Which was great, because we were hoping there wouldn't be so many people we didn't know.
A few other guests did show up, but half the place was taken up by Cats birthday party. So many people showed up and the mood was so nice!

I should have gotten more pictures of everyone, but I was kinda preoccupied with talking to friends.
Since it's V-day on Monday they had a Valentine-game, where everyone was to pick a piece of a heart out of a box, and then find the person with the unique piece that fitted yours. There were some unlikely pairings XD
Aww, they even have matching shirts XD
I didn't join, I don't think I need more men in my life right now f^-^

And then it was burfday cake time!
Heidi (who by the way baked the amazing cake. Oreo)looked completely stunning that day, I can't say it enough. She swore she hadn't dressed up more than usual, but she looked so cool! Marjus, in the background, looks slightly psycho killer-kei here XD
One can only guess what she wished for. I think I know some of the things ^-^
I think it's a long time since someone invited this many people and it turned out so great!

Going home we missed the last train, but we caught a bus and it's so easy to loiter on the night buses in Norway we went all the way home to Jacks place for no money at all^^b
We also had an extra passanger, because Eivind suddenly didn't want to go home alone. Which made the sleeping situation a little tight.
Jack and Cilliee both slept in Jacks room, and then Kimmie was gonna be on the sofa and Cat, Eivind and I had to sleep head-to-foot in Cats bed. I guess we're all what you can call old friends, so it wasn't really akward, but I kinda felt like I was back to that time when you're just out of junior high, making new friends and having these massive parties where everyobody stays over and sleeps in heeps on the couthces and floor and everywhere XD
Seems like the last train home wasn't invented back then.
Go nostalgia :p

Speaking of ...."new friends"? I don't know.
The reason for me being fucked in the head lately is, ofcourse, the man... or rather the men, I guess.
Nuts is still being incredably frustrating. I get that he's a slow writer and way too busy all the time, but this time it's been more than a week since I heard from him. I hate this long distance thing, I mean even if I was in Japan now I'd be eating up my finger nails going "why doesn't he love meeee?!" even though I know he likes me. The problem is that I don't think he's really that INTERESTED in me. Being together is fun and cuddling up together, ofcourse, is nice, but I can't blame him for not seeing a future in it. Sooo, that fucks me up.
What saves me, and maybe fucks me up even more, is.... this other dude.
We've been sending mail since I got back, and I was thinking he was being awfully friendly, but for once my ego couldn't convince me he actually liked me, even though Cat kept going on and on that he did, it would just be too strange.
But he does, or he's "seriously interested", if you can dig it. Poor japanese tranlation, sorry:p
He's really nice, and kinda hot and he sends a lot of mail. Interesting mail, with like pictures an stuff:
Very interesting, I know, but it's things like these that keeps you in touch. This is what I ate today, this is the waether today, this is todays backstage.
And this is where he lives, I know, I should just shut up and marry the guy XD
Buuuuut, the thing is that he's a lot older than me (at least in my standards) and also he kinda sorta plays in a band I like, and that compromises a lot. Plus, I like NutsO__O
I have to admit I'm really flattered and really happy (and really confused) about it all, but it's not up for discussion. And still I catch myself thinking about all the reasons why it wouldn't work, as if I'm actually trying to convince myself to stay away. And it should be the other way around, right? Or maybe not?

Yes, it is Hell inside my head.

Halloween Halloween Halloween Halloween

Yesterday I woke up with a fever again. I feel I'm getting sick a lot lately, but I guess it just feels that way because it sucks to spend a day off lying on the coutch. I wasn't even able to draw, and that is a lot of time wasted.
I did get myself out of the house though. With some idea that there was something I needed I headed for the town mall, all by my oncey.
I do need a new concealer, and I kinda need gloves and new pantsu, but I just couldn't bring myself to make a decicion about any of these things.
Heading for the exit I saw a store called Nille, which is kind of a bagain shop, and I remembered I really needed to do some Halloween shopping!
Yay! Halloween onions!
This all costed me 70 NOK (like 7.60 pounds?). I'm not going to spend a lot of money on Halloween costume, not this year anyway.
All I'm missing is dreads (which I can hopefully borrow), and a wooden club XD
And what am I gonna be?
A caveman! Well, cavewoman.
And since it's a J-fash Halloween party we are all supposed to be inspired by a j-fashion style. The only thing I could sort of fit my outfit into, except for gyaru (but of course, EVERYONE's doing gyaru) is ... cyber...
It's a style I've only (tentatively)done like once, and also it's based a lot upon bright colours, and my cavewoman outfit it all brown and beige, so it'll be a challange :p

The late revelation

So, this weekend I learned a few things. First of all, what my friends must feel like waiting for me to get my ass out of the house, and second, that there are people in this world who are even slower than me.
But it all started out like normal, with someone waiting for me. It wasn't 'cause I wasn't ready. I was fully dressed. Kinda looked like this:
(only this is my outfit from the day before, but it was more or less the same).
I had done my hair and my make-up and even vacuumed my room and painted my nails, when I suddenly got a call from Cat that they were already at the train station. Apparrently, Kimmie had sent me an sms, but it had gotten lost or something, because I didn't get it until afterwards.
So, they were waiting when I got there.
Cat was carrying an enormous backpack with laundry (she doesn't have to pay for a laundromat if she wsahes them at my place^^), but Kimmie hadn't brought enough underwear, so we had to take a trip to the town mall.
Ofcourse we were distracted from the original task XD
Cats conceiler... less than a perfect match for me. There's a point where we really don't match! Her skin is purple-ish, while mine is green-yellow XD
Good thing she likes purple!
We also quickly learned why men in my little city are so unfashionable. All the relatively fashionable budgett stores here (like H&M and Cubus) have cut the mens wear section O__o
We diod find some stores, slightly more exclusive ones, in the old part of the mall, and after going back and forth a bit, Kimmie found something he could wear and afford.
Ofcourse, by that time, we had all bought some things we weren't supposed to buy XD
I got this:
The fur-skarf thingy from H&M that I've been drooling on,
and some make-up. Gold and brown eye shadow, and a proper liquid eye liner (that's going to take some getting used to), oh and brown nail polish, to go with my pink.

After the mall we went to the recently opened grocery store on the other side of the station. It is said to be Norways biggest of the kind, so I was a little excited. Obviously I've been working in a grocery store too long, even though it's only a couple of months.
It was really big though!
This is romanesco. It looks a lot cooler than brocoly, but it is also more expencive, so it'll have to wait for a time when I'm not paying.
Here's Cat, explaining to Kimmie the shocking fact that I don't like pinapple.
The pinapple has an ezymyme that eats your tongue, did you know that? That's why your tongue gets numb from eating a lot of it.

Kimmie likes vine, so he got a Hariob kebab, and he started before dinner!
While waiting for our rice to cook we entertained our selves.
Seemed very harmless, until he tried to unzip and realized his hair was cought in the zipper XD
Then we found something else to play with.
This is actually a squash that my dad grew in our garden. It's so huge that we couldn't eat it all before it got dry!

We'd decided on bibimba for dinner. Kimmie deserves credit for taking us up on the offer of raw egg in his food the first time he's even been asked. It took me one and a half year on eating out in Japan before I gave in and tried!
It might have damaged his nerve of balance though, because he sure is clumsy! If you ever have him over, you should make sure you'll be doing all the cooking and serving yourself! Also, making and stirring of coacoa should not be left up to him XD
Cat was covered in Nesquick powder. We decided the vacuum cleaner would be the best way to get it off.
Cat didn't agree that was a super good idea, but I guess she changed her mind, considering how much she was laughing XD
Waffle-making is also strictly womens business from now on^^
Since it was the weekend we allowed ourselves to binge. It was waffles with ice cream and crunced up choko cookies and strawberries.

Kind of like crepes, only harder to eat XD
We ate so much we all got a little bit queezy.
Then the children napped while the grown-ups did the laundry.
I also made a movie, but I'm not sinister enough to post it. To sum it up we had to tickle his nose and toes and then hit him repeatedly with a pillow to meke him wake up long enough for us to pull out the guest bed.

The next day we staid in pajamas for far too long. I put on my Muhou chitai dvd (that's 12012), to watch hot swetty men, and we nerded on the internet and ate more ice cream and watched more visual kei dvd's. Lately I've really been taking the time to endulge in the music I love and it feels so good!
Also, feels great to hang out with people who still like visual kei, and not fucking k-pop ^^;

The plan was to meet up with Jack at Cats place, at around six, but we totally forgot to watch the time. Suddenly we were in a hurry, and that's when I learned that there is one person in the world twice as slow as me: Kimmie XD
I always get complaints that I'm slow or late, but this time, I was standing in the hall, with my purse and my shoes and jacket on, while he was just beginning to straighten his hair.

We did eventually get out of the house though. And we caught a train. No seats though.
These are my black-clad buddies. Finally I could be the cool kid and meet my emo friends at the station XD
Somehow they got me squeezed in her as well.
And speaking of squeezed, here's a very flat bun that Kimmie insisted on eating. He was half kidding, saying how he couldn't quite remember when he'd baiught it. I'm not sure wether to take that seriously or not^^

Finally in Oslo, we found out that the cell phone net was down. We couldn't get a hold of Jack. We tried again and again, but eventually we had to wave goodbye to Kimmie at the Central Station and head for Cats apartment in the Student Village.
I wanted to dress oshare, and I also wanted to use my new furry friend...
I looked like a gyaruo O__Olol
Eventually though, we did catch a lucky break and got in contact with Jack, and so she and her mother came over. Jack is going to live with Cat for a few weeks while the bathroom in her apartment is renovated.
We had some fishsticks and tea and watched Supernatural. I had a dream about Sam and Dean last night XD

This morning I was shoved out of bed way too early for a day off. I was out the door and on the train home before I would have usually even gotten out of bed at home!
Inspired by the frisky weather I stopped by the biggest Rema-store in the world again, on my way home, and bought this:
it's aPierre Robert undershirt, and it cost almost 300 kr.! Wich is roughly like 11,50 in GBP... that's a lot for an undershirt, but if this can keep me warm and fashionable this winter it is totally worth it! I've gotten warm recomendations from my friend, Oda, who is a very reliable source in my opinion.

Coming home I was met by this...
I hadn't had the time to clean my room before we went the day before... Luckily the only real effort was folding the guest bed back into a sofa, and the reast was easy peasy! Within an hour my room was cozy again, and I had hot brunch and a cup of tea ready to enjoy.
I'm considering wether or not to go to my Comic circle today. I'm kind of worn out and... it's really cold outside... we'll see.

Memememe

My first post!

My name is Inger, and I have been writing my blog in norwegian for quite some time now. Thought I'd give it a try to write one in english too, partly since I have some good friends who don't speak norwegian, but anyone is welcome to read! Long as you have an open mind.

Sometimes I smile too, I just wanted to post a picture of this pretty dress ^^

So here's a little introduction of myself.

I live in Norway (so my english might not be so great). I live with my dad and is currently working at a grocery store, but not much longer ^^ I quit in November and is going to Japan for various fun.

My dream job would be something I could do from home or maybe in an office where I wouldn't have to deal with costumers or cranky schizofrenic bosses. I want to be an artist, maybe an illustrator or a comic artist.

I'm not so fond of digital art, but I love drawing and making comics, and I occationally upload them, so there will be some on here :D

I used to be a japanese student and spent one and a half year at the JIU in Chiba, Japan. By the way, Chiba is NOT Tokyo!w

Through some good friends and romantic entaglements I learned to love it in Japan, and have been back again and again, even though it's mighty costy. Not sure I would like to live there permanently though.

With all this it probably sounds like I want to be a manga artist. I don't.I could write a loooong post about that, but maybe later. For now, some facts...

My favorite fashion styles:

hime, lolita, mori girl and oshare kei.

I generally respond to very feminine and cute things, but I kind of have "two sides", because sometimes I feel like dressing cute-punk or hip hop-ish oshare kei.

I'm not a gyaru, even though I like alot of things considered gyaru-ish, since I fell for the hime style. I say this because I don't have the gyaru-attitude and I wouldn't describe my style as sexy. Doesn't mean I have anything against gyarus though, ofcourse :D

Favorite brand at the moment is definitely LIZ LISA.

My favorite bands:

12012, Zoro, MUCC, One Ok Rock, Bug Lug.

I mostly listen to Visual Kei, but I'm not really a big generist. If I like it, I listen to it, if I can dance to it, I dance to it, if it's fun to sing I'll sing it. Japanese or none-japanese. However, that doesn't mean I'll nesesserily get really into it and buy CD's. I am a fan of CD's though ^^

My Favorite movies at the moment:

Pans Labyrinth and 28 Days Later.

I love horror, and I love/hate zombies. I like watching bad horror movies as well as good ones. That being said it doesn't HAVE to be horror, but I admit I easily shy away from schi-fi, fantasy and romantic comedies, unless I get some kind of credible recomendition.

Feel free to recomend!^^

My favorite actors:

Tsukamoto Takashi, Oguri Shun, Cillian Murphy, Keira Knightly, Narimiya Hiroki and ofcourse Johnny Depp.

Other than that... I don't smoke XD And I like animals and cute things. My favourite color is pink (big surprise) and pastels, and I'm obsessed with roses. I'm not really big on Hello Kitty, but I love Rilakkuma, and especially Korilakkuma.

I imagine I'm a very easy person to find presents for, because I have so many likes. I am also kind of obsessive.

I also have a bunch of dislikes ofcourse, but I'm sure they'll naturally come out in my blog posts. Don't really feel like listing them all now, I think ^^

Ok, that was ALOT of talking about myself. As for this blog, I will try to update it almost in phase with my norwegian blogs, but at the moment I can't make any promises, since it all takes alot of time, and I'm a busy busy girl.
