I am a material girl

First of all, this lives in our apartment...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
It's huge. It's like a fucking baby tarantula! I have never seen a wild spider this huge, not inside anyway! At first I thought it was a Halloween decoration, but then it moved.
My.God. ...
Ahm, not really related, I had kind of a scattered Saturday. I would have wanted to go to Togane to hang with my friend Petter who'd come over from Osaka, but had already promised Tomo to hang out. We were supposed to have a studio session, only we hadn't booked ahed so there was nothing free on a Saturday.
I was kind of happy about that, 'cause I really wasn't in the mood for an accustic session. We play punk! There doesn't seem to be much point in going in just the two of us without the band.
So instead we went to a Starbucks, 'cause I hadn't had a cup of tea for days. Seriously!
And we also went to my favourite pasta restaurant, I think it's called Gokon.
I know it looks kind of green and yucky, but it's really just amazingly delicious!
Happeeeeeee....^^
We hung around in Chiba for a while, and went to PARCO to see our friend Shun, who'd just gotten a job at a clothing store. He has to dress like a gyruo for work, it' really funny. Though I actually have to say he looks really handsome. Business was really slow that day though, and he didn't have enough money for the train back XD He's a bit too impulsive for his own good I think.

After talking to Shun we went to the top floor where Tomo went to a guitar shop, and I went to TOWER RECORDS.
Found this poster:
I kind of want one^^
And I bought this:
Small picture :p it's Nieche Syndrome byt ONE OK ROCK.
Tomo and also his brother, who had invited himself to Tomos apartment that day, could not understand for the life of them, why I'd bought a cd that was already in my iPod.
I like cds, ok? I like owning^^
Then we went to karaoke, and now my throut hurts. I'm fearing it's not just the singing... damn.
Anyway, here's a little drop of sugar from Nieche Syndrome, Jibun Rock:

I wanna dance with somebody

So on Friday I went to an izakaya (that's like a drinking place where the food is just as important) with my friends Mina and Sayaka, who I hadn't seen in forever. The last time I was in Japan I had just started seeing a new guy and wasn't exactly sure what to tell them, so I didn't contact them. I've decided to take better care of my girl-girl relationships, after all, friendships are frever.
Oops, blurry :P
Which is ironic, 'cause this one's without alcohol. We just all had to have one of these 'cause they were amazing!
It was so nice seeing Sayaka and Mina again! Who sais you can't have real girl talk with japanese girls? They're not as blank and boring as some people think.
I had forgotten how funny Sayakas personallity is, she just blurts out what she's thinking, and she gets so excited about thingsXD
And Mina sais it's ok fr me to stay at her place, which is good, because staying with Tomo is just... not a good idea.
I asked her that she'd ask her boyfriend, Ryo first though, even though he doesn't live there with her now. I hope it's ok, she hasn't contacted me yet...
From the izakaya.
Mina was getting up early the next morning, and Sayaka really had a cold (though you really couldn't tell) so we couldn't stay all night. Even so, we ended it all just a little bit too late for me to catch a train to Tokyo.
Michelle and some of the kouhais had invited me to a club that same night, and I really wanted to go. I love dancing! I want t dance! And... to be blunt I really want to hook up with someone. There are SO many attractive men here compared to Norway XD
But yeah, so I called Tomo, and he was just on his way out f the house and said he'd come pick me up on his way to T.A.T.s house. I love that he has a car now ^^
T.A.T. is Tomos rapper friend from school, and Tomo was coming over to dye his hair. He had apparently failed to tell him I was coming along because when we got there he was in the showerXD
I turned my back when he came out though, and apparrently he'd brought his shorts in to the bath room 'cause he'd put them on when he came back out. Poor guy XDXD

His hair is getting really thin at the top, even though he's only like 22-23, but he still insists on coloring his hair. Only a light shade of brown though, so no heavy shit, but even so, Tomo and were pretty excited to see if his hair had fallen off when he'd washed the color out.
Luckily it was still there, but the strands of his hair are so thin it's amazing. Even though he's asian! Well, half asian, I think. He looks very japanese anyway.

Oh, and apparently they had a tradition at the izakaya we were at, that the ladies always got a flower when they left.
I love flowers!

a night filled with idols, at O-east

So far I havn't wasted any time I Japan. I went shopping in Chiba City the same day I arrived and yesterday I went to Tokyo with my kouhais (like... underclassmen?:P) Kristoffer and Karen.
Waiting for the train this dude suddenly sist down next to me and starts asking if I'm japanese, where I'm from, how long am I here for and could he possably get my e-mail XD I'd forgotten what it feels like to be nampaed (picked up). He was decent-looking though so I let him have the adress. Turns out he's 19 ^^; I havn't told him my age.

Anyway, going to Tokyo took longer than I remembered, and I'd kind of overdone it when I said I remembered the way to the venue, but we finally arrived at...

Shibuya O-east(it's kind of hard to tell from the picture).
Just missed our ticket numbers, so we ran inside, put awy our stuff and were concert ready just as the first band started.
They were called Born, and call me a granny but I'd never heard of them before. I do think I'll be hearing them again though, 'cause they were awsome!

I'm usually a real wuzz at japanese concerts. Somehow the miniature fangirls with their nazi system and strange manners vaporizes my courage. But Karen didn't care and she wanted to see Born up close, so she pushed past everyone, somehow that gave me a push to do the same, so we got really close and still had an awsome view, since mostly everyne are really short XD

The next band was one of the ones's I was there for, Megamasso.

Ofcourse they were brilliant. They really have a beautiful clean pop-sound and everyone is just damn talented. Even the stand-in drummer was really good^^

Born had had a few feed-back problems, but they were all gone by the time Megamasso came on.

They even played Lips! My favourite song by them (and one of Kristoffers least fevourite songs ever XD).

Next out was Zoro, who were kind of my main band of the main bands, the one I stated I was there for when we entered.

Of course, they just rocked... and raved at the same time, 'cause that's what they do.

They started out with their launch hit Kitsune, which really set the mood. I really shouldn't have worn so much clothes when I knew there would be so much dancing XD

Next out, Ayabie, which is a band I've liked for a long time, but never had a chance to see. I thought this might be my last chance, since their vocalist(and my favourite member), Aoi, is quitting the band. Turns out though he already had quit... the vocals were done by the newest member, guitarist Yumehito...

It was a bit dissappointing, but also kind of unique. Yumehito is not a very good singer, but he had all the vocalist-moves in. If I didn't know better, I'd think he'd been practicing his vocal debut for years in front of the mirror >__>

So Ayabie didn't really sound much like Ayabie, but the songs are still very good! And everybody looked so cute, I just have to mention that.

Next up was SuG. Not a band that I'm a huge fan of, their music doesn't at all live up to the enormous hype they've gotten from being on PSCompany and... basically having the cutest vocalist ever. But I knew their performance would be well worth watching.

I wasn't wrong.
First of all, I've never really noticed any of the other members of SuG because they're usually in visual kei, while vocalist Takeru with his 1000W smile is in flashy oshare, but the bass player really brings the hotness. Takeru, even though he might not be Pavarotti, is an amazing fashionisto and style icon. I've never seen so many original twists on oshare kei as with him. And they're all so energetic! I'm not sure how they manage to bounce that much for 30 minutes (though Tkaeru menitoned something about getting fired up from looking up under Zoro bassist Tatsuhis skirt... it really was shamefully short this evening XD). I think the best part was when Takeru lay down on the floor, banging it with his fists and feet like a little brat. That will always be SuG to me.

The main band of the event was Lolita23ku, a band that I used to be a big fan of, but I kind of gave up when they got a new vocalist (even though my favourite have always been the ugly-ass drummer, Ban). I havn't listened to them in a while, and we didn't actually have the time to stay and watch them.
We did see the first song though and I immediately thought about staying in Tokyo for the night. They're even more awsome now! It really hurt to have to leave, but I decided I couldn't stay there alone, and I didn't feel I could aske any of the others to stay out with me all night.
Next time though, for sure!

Oustide, as usual, was a crowd of "less famous" rockers, handing out flyers for their concerts. I saw a couple of guys that I'm "friends" with on Ameba, but I was too shy to talk to them. I looked like shit anyway. But a bit futher up I was handed a flyer for Danger Gang. I turned around and saw that it was Thera! I really hadn't recognized her until I saw the flyer, 'cause she was all casual and stuff XD
I gathered my guts and I'm so happy I talked to her. Got our picture taken too :D
I said I would try to go to their concert, unfortunately there's only one on the tour that I have a chance to see.
Also, after taking off I realized that Rei, the drummer, was standing on the other side of the road, and I felt kind of bad. I never recognize her, she's just so much more beautiful in real life than in pictures. Would have been awsome if she was in the picture too.
Here's my new friend, Karen too, with Thera.
Today I'm going out with a couple of girlfriends I havn't hung with in forever, Mina and Sayaka. Looking forward to it :D

Going back

So, two days ago I was finally off to Japan.
My mom gave me a ride to Oslo airport, and since I was stopping at London Heathrow she graced me with left over pounds from her last trip to England. It was like 50 pounds!
The flight to Heathrow was kind of horrible. There was so much turbulence I actually felt the fear of death creeping up on for real. And (not that it's comparable) the couple in the seat in front of me couldn't keep it in their pants.
I'm all for public display of affection if it means holding hands or sleeping on shoulders or maybe a peck now and then on the lips or the forehead, but when you're strapped into a seat, practically n top of people, you can keep yourself from loud slurpy open mouth kissing for the roughly two hours from Oslo to London. Just saying.
When I got to Heathrow I put my money to use. For some reason they don't seem to have trolleys there anymore, wich made my shopping a bit of a pain because my hand luggage was humongus! But after wandering back and forth and trying out different things I decided to go for a MAC concealer and Royal Desire, by Christina Aguilera. I hadn't brought perfume, becuse I was planning to buy it at the tax free. There were lots of other candidates, but I really like this one! It smells really nice, and the bottle is cute too. Not to mention it was one of the most affordable ones I found. And it's perfume, not au de toilette.
Also got something to eat and sat down to wait. Fortunately my plane to Tokyo was leaving from the same terminal as I had landed on.
The trip to Tokyo was less eventfull, luckily. We were circling on the ground for like an hour, and when we finally got in the air the entertainment systems didn't work at first, but I was so tired from my last few days of stress in Norway that I slept through most of this.
Then I watched Almost Famous (which I liked better than the first time I saw it) and Pocahontas (my god I forgot how great cartoons used to be! I laughed and cried like an idiot XD) and Indespicable me (which was actually really funny, I loved it).
The food wasn't much to sing about, but the dessert was delish!
Vanilla creme brule, halleluya O.O
Landing at Narita Airport I felt kind of lost. For the first time there wouldn't be anyone to greet me, because Tomo had gotten the dates wrong and couldn't come on the 3rd. So I wheeled my trolley out in the arrival hall, not sure where to start on getting back to life in Japan, when suddenly I heard my name.
At first I thught I was dreaming, but when I turned around, there was Mario! The guitarist from our band. Very much blonder than the last time I saw him XD
I was so happy I almost cried, seriously!
lol.
We found an ATM, something to eat and went to a Softbank store to get the phone working. I'd borrowed Jacks prepaid one, and I have never used a prepaid before, or a Softbank. Then we got on the train back towards Chiba.
I didn't have time to write about it, but Sana, who I was supposed to live with, actually cancelled on me two days before my leaving Oslo. She's doing the stupid work programme, and apparrently got in a huge fight with her boyfriend who wanted her to concentrate more on that and everything. I always had a back-up plan, because Tomo offered me to live at his place. Tomo is my ex-boyfriend, so I didn't really want to take him up on it, but intil futher notice, that is my adress.
Mario carried my bag, thank god, it was 13 kilos wich according to Ciliee isn't very heavy, but it is to me ok?XD and he helped me get a taxi from Hon Chiba station, and even paid. He really didn't have to do that I', filthy stinking rich at the moment, because my parents are just way too nice to me.
And here I am. Back in Japan.
